Bluma has many years of experience leading children and staff in programs where she created and implemented activities full of experimentation and discovery. 

 

Bluma holds teaching certifications for grades K-12. She has received training and certifications in Waldorf, Montessori, and teaching handwork. Throughout her career Bluma has received multiple awards for excellence in education.

 

She seeks to cultivate in each child a sense of wonder and curiosity for the natural world, creativity and collaboration with others, and confidence to engage in new experiences.

 

Bluma has seen the benefits and healing nature of practical work, artistic activities, connection with the natural world, and caring for others. She holds these concepts as the foundation of her educational philosophy due to how they support each child's journey towards self development and independent functioning in the world.
